RocLoc® Resin Capsules

Two-Compartment, High-Strength Resin Anchors

RocLoc® Resin Capsules consist of a durable polyester film sheath containing two compartments: one filled with resin mastic, the other with a catalyst paste. When a roof bolt is inserted and rotated, the compartments rupture and the components mix, forming a thixotropic compound that hardens within a specified setting time. This process creates a secure chemical bond between the roof bolt and the surrounding rock strata.

Applications

RocLoc® Resin Capsules are used in combination with roof bolts and cable anchors to support underground excavations. They are compatible with hydraulic and pneumatic bolting systems.

Resin Holder Canister

The Resin Holder Canister is designed for the safe, organised transport of resin capsules to hard-to-reach underground areas. Constructed from hardened, non-static plastic, it features ergonomic handles and internal hollow tubes that secure each capsule individually. As capsules are removed, the rest remain safely stored and protected during transit.

Resin Capsule Inserters

Resin Capsule Inserters enable safe, accurate placement of resin capsules into pre-drilled boreholes. The unit is constructed with a plastic outer tube, an internal insertion rod, and a rubber handle grip for comfort and ease of use.

Parachutes

Parachutes are lightweight, cost-effective plastic retainers designed to:

• Guide the resin capsule into the borehole
• Hold it securely in place until the bolt is inserted

Top Hats

Top Hats function similarly to parachutes. These simple plastic retainers ensure the resin capsule remains positioned inside the borehole prior to bolt insertion.

RocLoc® Pourable Resin

RocLoc® Pourable Resin is a high-strength anchoring solution designed for securing bolts or tendons into concrete, masonry, or natural rock. Ideal for surface applications where a pourable mix is preferred over capsules, this product delivers robust chemical anchoring in structurally demanding environments.
